Old City Philadelphia: Where a Port Town Argued Itself into a Nation

Philadelphia, United States

A ~0.9-mile, mostly flat one-way walk of 8 stops (about 35-40 minutes of listening) from Independence Hall to Elfreth's Alley. It moves from the rooms where independence and the Constitution were argued, past the President's House site and its enslaved household, through Franklin Court and Christ Church, to the Betsy Ross legend and the working people's lane where it ends. Paved sidewalks and brick; Independence Hall itself needs a timed ticket (separate from this free audio tour).
